Random Thoughts

As the proud collector of failed relationships, I can say there was a point in each relationship where I was truly happy; however fleeting that moment may have been, it was there nonetheless. I think for any relationship to work, there has to be a foundation. Mutual respect (and adoration for me!) is a good start. Communication (which I’m still working on!) is huge too. If you can’t tell the person how you feel, how do you expect to grow together as a couple? I learned that lesson the hard way!

Looking back, there are so many comparsions I can draw between my exes. Is it unusual for patterns to repeat themselves? I don’t think so; but some don’t need to be repeated. Some we have control over, some we don’t. Also, for some reason, people outside the relationships can see the cracks & flaws quicker & faster than those in the relationship. Maybe some are worth listening to but some definitely aren’t.

To up and move tomorrow, where would you go to? I’ve made no secret of my love of Chicago; I’d move there in a heartbeat! I also love NYC but I’m not sure I could ever live there.

How about to visit? Anywhere in the world; take your pick! I’d love to take a trip back to Ireland. I’d go to Australia, New Zeland, & Thailand. And someday I hope to make it to Prague - I hear it’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

Today I’m just tired, weary & worn out. I’m starving too; all I can think about is what I should do for lunch and I just can’t decide! It better be something good; I’m at job 2 again tonight and may not have time to grab anything.

So Hecate’s decided to bring up snuggling; a fine topic for a Monday morning. I’m not big into snuggling either; well I take that back – it depends on who I’m snuggling up to! Sometimes you can snuggle with someone and it can be the perfect fit, other times it’s all knees & elbows and nobody gets comfy. But since I’ve been snuggle-free for quite some time now, I’m hardly qualified to comment anymore!
