  1. Most of them embarrass me now, looking back.

It was the start of the process of Americanising a remote and introverted society, though we didn’t know it at the time, much as Albania doesn’t realise it today.

Nor did we know that it would lead to our abandoning almost every tradition we had, and nurture a savage, violent hoodie-clad underclass who felt entitled to every hand-out the could screw from us.

Ah no - I’m only joking. It was Mister Ed.

  2. Oh god i could go on forever on this.
    REMEMBER
Fraggle Rock my personal favourite followed closely by
    The muppet show
    Tom and Jerry Cartoons
    Wurzel Gummage (and Aunt Sally)
    Rainbow
    The magic roundabout
i could keep going but i would be afraid to embarrass myself any more however i have an excuse to watch some again now with my little one so i am happy.

OK ReD, now that you’ve mentioned The Muppet Show……name the 2 guys in the balcony!! And no cheating either and heading to Google!!!

Mr. Ed??? Why don’t I remember that, though it does sound familiar?!!

  5. LG - I think it was Anything Goes that showed Mr. Ed. It was in black and white and Mr. Ed was a talking horse. The theme song went… (really showing my age here now LOL)..
“A horse is a horse of course of course,
And no-one can talk to a horse of course,
That is of course unless the horse is
    The famous Mr. Ed”

Please tell me you remember it now after all that! ha haha

  6. Words escape me right now……..

  7. And the world’s worst Mr. Ed Joke?

What did Mrs. Ed say at Mr. Ed’s funeral?

“A horse is a horse of corpse of corpse”
