Age Gap?

When it comes to dating, do you have an age limit??  A cut off point that you won’t cross?  A radio station I listen to has a formula to work out the youngest age group you can date before it becomes icky - 1/2 your age + 8.  Which means I shouldn’t date anyone younger than 24.  But what do they know?!!

As far as dating someone older, how old are you willing to go?  10 years, 15 years?  I’m not talking about a gold-digging relationship here - all bets are off at that point!

Or does it simply depend on the person and how you feel about them??

So many of my friends……..

Are having to deal with various issues in their lives right now.  Issues I can’t discuss for fear of beatings.  They’re dangling all these glorious topics in front of me, followed by “You can’t blog about this!”………….grrrrrrrr!  Wenches!

I’m bewildered as to why they turn to me.  I’m the eternal single one, never keeping a guy around for too long (bastards keep escaping!), so why turn to me for relationship advice?????  Why taunt me with such juicy topics????  Why, why, why????????

Tonight I’ve spent the night watching DVD’s.

I just finished watching The Bishop’s Wife - hands down one of my favorite movies.  I just love love love Cary Grant!!  I’ve also watched Waking Ned Devine; I’d forgotten how funny that movie is!  I should enjoy my dvd collection more but I really don’t.  I usually watch them once and pass them out to friends to enjoy.  But tonight I’ve made up for lost time - another on the list of must watch………..The Princess Bride  - “Truuue Wuve”……….cracks me up every time!

Movie night should be made mandatory in every household!!  Everyone should get the chance to watch their all time favorite movie without ridicule.  I don’t have one favorite movie so movie night at my place could take a while!  I love the old black & white movies.  I’m convinced I was born in the wrong era - I should have been living large with the rat pack.  Instead I have to make do with their movies and roastings.  Better than nothing I suppose.

Back to the sofa - Dean Martin awaits! :)
