While perusing the Atlanta Journal Constitution this morning, I came across an article discussing a lawsuit. A 60yr old man is taking an 8yr old (and his father) to court over a skiing accident that took place when the boy was 7. Apparently the boy collided with the man, who suffered a torn tendon in his shoulder. He’s looking for compensation for physical therapy, vacation time, nursing and medical expenses provided by his wife, plus other expenses - he estimates their losses at $75, 000.
Who takes a 7yr old to court??? What goes through your mind that you would even consider doing something like that; what ever happened to dismissing an incident as just an accident - accidents do happen after all?!! It’s just mind boggling!

ohhhh the joys of the materialistic society we live in… the ample opportunity for people to get a fast and easy buck without having to work for it…if that ever makes it to court, I’d love to see the judge awarding against his claim with costs. Thats an expensive torn tendon…imagine if he’d been seriously hurt. Guy an wife with low morals… sad to see
